- The Year One winning entry receives a $10,000 award.
- The award is made to the winning NAIA member institution, not to an individual student, employee, athlete, coach, voter, or creator.
- The institution may designate an appropriate school-controlled department, program, fund, foundation, or institutional account to receive the award, subject to final legal and tax requirements.
- The award recognizes the winning institution’s NAIAmerica story and community.
- Individuals appearing in or contributing to the entry do not acquire a personal claim to any portion of the award.
- The final recipient/payment mechanics, tax treatment, documentation requirements, and any restrictions on use remain subject to final legal review.
